Brand kits: keeping every screen on-brand

A brand kit is your brand guidelines, encoded. Once one exists, AI-generated slides come out on-brand by default instead of by luck.

Where to find it

Brand Kits isn't in the sidebar. Open Settings, scroll to Players & fleet, and click Brand — “Logos, colors, and fonts for your screens.”

Create a kit

  1. 1
Click New brand kit.Start blank, or set it up automatically from your website.
  2. 2
Choose Blank or From website. For From website, paste a Website URL and click Capture — it pulls the logo, colors and fonts for you to review. Create brand kit stays dimmed until that capture comes back.
The New brand kit dialog, subtitled “Start blank, or set it up automatically from your website.” A two-way switch offers Blank and From website, with From website chosen. Under it a Website URL field shows the placeholder https://acme.com beside a Capture button, over the line “We’ll pull the logo, colors and fonts for you to review.” Cancel and a dimmed Create brand kit close the dialog.
  3. 3
Name it, then click Create brand kit.Set a Franchise parent here too, or leave it on None (top-level brand).

A thin capture isn't a failure. If it reports “We couldn't find much on that page”, create the kit anyway and fill in the rest by hand.

What a kit holds

A brand kit open for editing, titled Pico Sign under a breadcrumb back to Brand Kits. A Name card holds the name and a Franchise parent select reading “None (top-level brand)”. A Logos card lists one logo — its thumbnail, a role select set to Primary and a background select set to Transparent — above an Add logo button. Below it a Colors card gives every color a round swatch and a name you type: primary, secondary, and two called accent.
The top of a kit: name, logos, then colors. Everything else on the list below lives further down this same page.
  • Logos — by role: Primary, Secondary, Icon, Wordmark, Mono (light) and Mono (dark), each marked for a transparent, light or dark background.
  • Colors, each with a role you name, and Fonts for headings and body.
  • Voice & tone — tone, casing, banned words, preferred words and reading level.
  • Imagery — mood tags, preferred style, an AI style prompt and an AI negative prompt.
  • Motion — transition, speed and a default duration.

Governance

Locked fields can't be edited — by you here, or by the AI — until they're unlocked, and they carry a Locked badge. Require approval for generated content holds AI output for review before anyone can use it. Like everything else on this page, a lock takes effect when you save it — tick the box, leave without saving, and nothing is locked.

The Governance section of a brand kit. Locked fields offers a checkbox each for Name, Logos, Colors, Fonts, Voice & tone, Imagery and Motion, with Colors ticked. Below it, a Require approval for generated content switch, an Approved media panel reading “No approved media yet”, and a sticky bar showing Unsaved changes beside Save changes.
Locks are per field, and like every change here they only take effect once you save.

Treat locks as guardrails for the people designing, not as security. They stop the editor and the AI from changing a field; they are not a permission boundary.

Franchises

Give a kit a Franchise parent and it inherits: empty fields fall back to the parent, a child can only add to its parent's rules, and a parent's locks always apply to its children. Deleting a parent leaves children with their own settings.

Putting a kit to work

Use Set as default on the kit you use most and Ask AI picks it up automatically — the Brand kit control under the + button chooses which kit a design is grounded on. Mark assets or folders in the media library with Approve for brand… and they appear under Approved media. See Design with AI.

Brand kits are not white label

A brand kit is the brand you put on your slides. White label is your brand on the portal your team and customers sign in to — the next row down in Settings. Brand kits are available on every plan; white label isn't.
